”Life is the sum of the choices we make, both consciously and unconsciously. If we can control our choices, we can control every aspect of our lives. We can discover the freedom that lies in the ability to control ourselves.” Robert F. Bennett.
YOU are responsible for the choices you make! When you understand this, you will realize that only you can act and influence the path of your life.
Conscious choice involves deciding what you want now. And then to take action.. because without a targeted action you remain with the choice, without getting what you want.
Living in a conscious awareness state implies:
- To become aware of the surrounding reality.
- To become aware of your possibilities and abilities.
- Being responsible – namely to be responsible for an action.
- To live consciously means to be attentive, to perceive and respect reality, whether it is external – objective or internal – subjective.
- Being aware is the equivalent to being responsible in relation to reality. In other words, to choose to see and recognize what exists rather than pretend that it does not exist.
- In any case, to live consciously is to choose the most appropriate mental state in relation to the action in progress.
Conscious life requires a certain kind of intellectual independence.
Thinking doesn’t mean to recycle opinions or judgments of others, but to connect actions and ideas with our own values, goals, or objectives.
Being present in my actions means to allow the experience to flow freely through my conscience, without judging or condemning.
A conscious human being makes sure his actions and activities respect the preset objectives, by identifying their adequacy or inadequacy.
Genuine living implies not lying. The most devastating lies are not the ones we say but those we live.
Authentic life requires congruence
An authentic life is born from awareness (I am in contact with my mental and emotional experience, with my impulses and values) and develops through the harmony of power and overall vision.
There is a critical point in our experience that we call “awakening”, when we become aware of ourselves, of who we really are, what we want, and what our path is. It is a magnificent moment, in which our experience can never be lost when all invisible chains disappear.
It is a precious moment, when we give up the masks we have worked our entire life to refine All it remains is ourselves, our true and divine Self. It is an unforgettable and unique experience, the first moment of awareness, and a first step in the process of responsibility.
The awareness of who you are and what you actually want opens doors to new opportunities for change, in the process of reaching a state of inner peace. When you become aware, you no longer judge or label, have expectations, or feel the need to save anyone. You live with yourself and everything around, all at the same time. This is the moment when responsibility occurs, being aware that your deeds influence not only others but yourself as well, and also that everything you do to yourself influences all mankind.
When you are aware, you are also responsible. These characteristics go hand in hand and are inseparable.
