This is a mantra to Lord Rama and His beloved Goddess Sita.

In Hindu tradition, Lord Rama (also written Ram) is considered the ”Marayada Purushottam,” the perfect man, and Goddess Sita, His consort, is the perfect example of womanhood.

Both exemplify the heights of perfection a human being can achieve. Along with Lord Krishna, He is considered to be one of the most important avatars of Lord Vishnu, the preserver and upholder of dharma and part of the Hindu Trimurti.

In Rama-centric sects, He is viewed as the Supreme Being, rather than an avatar. He is the embodiment of virtuousness and the steadfast adherence to dharma, or correct action.

Additionally, Lord Rama has two meanings: the One who out of His own will assumed the enchanting form of Rama, the son of Dasaratha, and the supreme Brahman, who is the eternally blissful spiritual Self in whom yogis delight.

Sita & Rama – Lifelong Devotion

His consort Goddess Sita embodies surrender and absolute devotion. ”Jay” is a cry of victory to these positive characteristics within us.

Goddess Sita is an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, goddess of fortune, prosperity, and abundance. Sita is an embodiment of devotion, especially in divine union.

Moreover, Sita is also believed to be the Kundalini Shakti, or power of God. She is known as the daughter of the goddess Mother Earth, also called Bhumi. She is also esteemed as a paragon of spousal and feminine traits for all Hindu women. She is known for Her sincere dedication, self-sacrifice, purity, and courage.

Sita as Kundalini Shakti resides in the 1st Chakra (also known as the Mooladhara or root chakra). The root chakra represents the earth element. Finding balance within Mooladhara chakra is extremely beneficial not only to physical health but also emotional and mental.

This energy vortex is where our ”Fight or Flight” to survive is governed, so it is essential to balance this chakra so that we are not in a stressed state constantly. Stress can damage your relationships and mood, and lead to a host of numerous mental and physical health problems.
