Nausea is not a disease, but it is a symptom of various conditions. You can experience nausea for numerous reasons, such as – medication use, pregnancy,  infection, or food poisoning.

You can avoid nausea by reducing your intake of certain food groups and spicy foods, eating slowly, eating smaller meals throughout the day, and resting after eating.

However, if you still experience this condition, here are 12 essential oils for nausea which you may use:

#1 Anise

Anise, native to the eastern Southeast Asia and Mediterranean, has antifungal, antibacterial, antioxidant, expectorant, and stimulant properties. The seeds also have mild diaphoretic (increased sweating) and diuretic (increase urine output) properties and they have also been used for treating nausea symptoms.

#2 Lavender

Lavender is a natural anticonvulsant and antispasmodic. Furthermore, it is a great natural remedy for an upset stomach and morning sickness since it is extremely soothing and antibacterial.
